This Refund Policy explains when and how you can request a refund for a SteakChef Premium subscription. It forms part of our Terms of Service and should be read alongside our Privacy Policy.
This policy is written to comply with the UK Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013.
If you are a consumer in the UK or EEA, you have a statutory right to cancel a digital subscription within 14 calendar days of purchase without giving any reason. This is your "cooling-off period" under the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
Important: When you subscribe to SteakChef Premium, you are asked to expressly consent to us beginning to provide the digital service immediately, before the 14-day cooling-off period expires. By ticking this box and proceeding with payment, you acknowledge that:
If you have not accessed any Premium features after subscribing, you retain your full 14-day right to cancel and receive a full refund. To exercise this right, contact us within 14 days of purchase at [email protected].
Outside the cooling-off period, we will consider a refund where there has been a material failure on our part that prevented you from accessing the Service for a significant portion of your billing period. Examples include:
In these cases, we may offer a pro-rated refund for the affected period, a credit to your account, or an extension of your subscription, at our discretion.

We will acknowledge your request within 2 business days and aim to resolve it within 10 business days. Approved refunds will be processed back to your original payment method via Stripe and typically appear within 5–10 business days depending on your bank.

Nothing in this Refund Policy affects your statutory rights under UK law, including your rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015 and the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
